Barcelona travel to Brazil to negotiate with Thiago Silva

Barcelona manager, Tito Vilanova is adamant that no other player should be signed until they secure the services of Silva and is insistent that the Blaugrana convince Paris Saint Germain to part ways with the coveted defender.
However, Paris Saint Germain have continuously refused to listen to any offers for Thiago Silva or former Barcelona striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Therefore, Barcelona are taking their campaign to the player directly, to try and agree to personal terms with Silva and put pressure of Paris Saint Germain to sell and sell quickly.
Barcelona tried several times to sign Silva last summer when he was at AC Milan, but the asking price of nearly €40 million was far too steep and Paris Saint Germain were able to convince AC Milan to transfer Silva by packing him in a  €65 million deal with Ibrahimovic.
