United respect Cesc choice to stay at Barca

Manchester United have confirmed they "respect" Cesc Fabregas' claim that he wants to remain at Barcelona.
David Moyes' side had two bids for the former Arsenal man rejected by Barcelona earlier this summer, while Nou Camp sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta declared at the start of the week that United had given up on trying to sign the Spain international.
Fabregas ruled out a move away from Barcelona while at the Confederations Cup in June but kept silent after United made their interest in him official, prompting speculation that he was in favour of a transfer.
But speaking in a press conference in Malaysia on Thursday, the midfielder said: "Triumphing in Barcelona is what I have been hoping for all my life, it's been my dream since I was a child.

No surprises for Barcelona tranfer window

As the title suggest, don't expect any surprises in this section. I have been telling you guys what will happen to our high profile transfer pursuits for some time. You still are living in the Neverland, then it's not my fault. Despite the sheer stupidity of our pursuits, there is no death of sensational news in media. That is a good thing having two media houses who only writes about us. If one of us sneezes, that also will become news.

It is confirmed that Barca has officially placed a bid for Chelsea's David Luiz. How much was Barca's first official bid, that's the big question? SPORT says that the bid was around 20 - 25 Million; but English tabloid Daily Mail and Daily Mirror says that it was a 40 Million Pound bid. In any case Chelsea firmly rejected the offer saying they would not entertain a second bid. Don't worry Daily Mirror has given us some hope saying, there is a chance of Chelsea taking a look at offer if we can increase the price to 60 Million.

So since Chelsea and Mourinho especially is not keen to help us out, we are looking at other alternatives. There are rumours that we are readying a 20 Million bid for Daniel Agger to Liverpool. My not so smart brain says it will be rejected. By now everyone in the word knows about our desperation and will play the waiting game. Meanwhile we continue to dream.

Brazilian star will shine at Barcelona

Neymar has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Spanish giants Barcelona, but will he fit in their structure as they have many players competing for up-front positions.
In 2003, he was signed for Santos and at his time at the Brazilian club he has bagged over 50 goals in 100 appearances and for his national side has been on the core-sheet 20 times in 32 matches which is a phenomenal statistic for a player with such great talent.
In my opinion, Barcelona should play a formation structure of 4-4-2 with Lionel Messi and Neymar up-front so they can cause havoc and the midfield of the Blaugrauna to stay strong with Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta and co to control the central midfield. or possibly a 4-3-2-1 being Neymar the central striker and Messi and Villa behind him, either way it will work.
I'm sure Neymar will make a great debut once he puts the colurs of Barcelona on as he will continue to be a scoring machine and also stand out for the national side for the World Cup 2014 next year.

Fabregas dismisses Barcelona exit talk

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said his only wish is to succeed with the Spanish champions and has dismissed the idea that he could be lured away to another club.
Manchester United boss David Moyes is trying to bring the 26-year-old Spain international back to the Premier League, which he left when he returned to his boyhood club from Arsenal in 2011.
"Nothing has changed. I am happy at Barcelona. My dream is to play and triumph here and I have never considered leaving," Fabregas told a news conference in Kuala Lumpur, where Barca are to play a pre-season friendly against a Malaysia XI.
"When an important team makes two offers for you, it's flattering, but I have never spoken to anyone from United. I haven't spoken to another club in two years."

“Tata has given us a boost”

Barcelona striker Pedro says new boss Tata Martino has given the players a boost since his arrival at the club.

“Tata has given us a boost. We want to get to know him and are all working to find our rhythm and gain his confidence,” said the Tenerife-born player in a statement provided by Barcelona’s official website.
“Every player wants to give 100 per cent to the team and I want to continue doing what I did today. Scoring goals is always good to give you confidence.
“We played well and got what we wanted. We’ll try to be in the best possible condition for the start of La Liga,” explained Pedro, who suffered a calf injury in the Thailand match that makes him doubtful for Saturday’s game in Kuala Lumpur.
“I noticed a strong discomfort in the calf muscle but I’m hoping it’s nothing. However, it does bother me a bit,” he admitted.

Martino: Fabregas stays

Barcelona boss Tata Martino has insisted Cesc Fabregas will be staying with the club next season.
Manchester United have had two bids for the former Arsenal midfielder turned down this summer but Martino, who had previously said it was up to the player to decide his future, has now made it clear he expects him to stay.
Fabregas was in the starting line-up as Barca thrashed the Thailand national team 7-1 in Bangkok on Wednesday, and Martino asserted afterwards he was not worried about him leaving the Camp Nou.
“Fabregas is still our player and he will be with us next season,” the Argentine was quoted as telling AS.

Barcelona reject Napoli bid for Javier Mascherano

Barcelona has officially rejected a move from Italian club Napoli for Argentine defender Javier Mascherano, who the manager pegs as an important player in the current squad.

Napoli manager Rafa Benitez has undergone a spending spree this summer but is still looking to strengthen the squad’s defense and thus turned to Barcelona man Javier Mascherano.
It was reported by Gazetto dello Sport that the Italian club had made a formal bid for the Argentine defender but it the exactly fee proposed is not known.
However, according to Italian reports Barcelona has officially rejected the offer for Mascherano who manager Tata Martino sees as a very important player in the Catalan squad.
With Barcelona yet to sign a defender in the current transfer window it is believed that Mascherano will compete for a starting role at the Catalan club.
