Liverpool and Tottenham are on alert as Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly ready to allow young star Gerard Deulofeu to spend a season out on loan.
The Catalan side are aware that Deulofeu is unlikely to make the breakthrough into the Barcelona first-team this season due to the purchase of Neymar to play alongside Lionel Messi, while the likes of David Villa, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas are also all able to play in the front three.
And that means he will be allowed to go out on loan, with Barcelona certain to make it clear there is no chance of the deal becoming permanent at the end of the season as they see his long-term future at the Nou Camp.
Both sides have been eyeing up a permanent move for the young lad and it would give them both a chance to try before they make big money move.
