“Tata has given us a boost. We want to get to know him and are all working to find our rhythm and gain his confidence,” said the Tenerife-born player in a statement provided by Barcelona’s official website.
“Every player wants to give 100 per cent to the team and I want to continue doing what I did today. Scoring goals is always good to give you confidence.
“We played well and got what we wanted. We’ll try to be in the best possible condition for the start of La Liga,” explained Pedro, who suffered a calf injury in the Thailand match that makes him doubtful for Saturday’s game in Kuala Lumpur.
“I noticed a strong discomfort in the calf muscle but I’m hoping it’s nothing. However, it does bother me a bit,” he admitted.
